Description
The economic Hot Tack Tester is used to test the hot tack strength of plastic film after heat sealed in different conditions of temperature, pressure and time. This is achieved by clipping one end of two layers of test samples (having a tear bar fixed between the two layers) then heat seal the other end of the two samples. The clips pull the samples at certain speed until the samples are torn off by the tear bar at the heat sealed point. The force of tearing is measured so as to evaluate the hot tack strength.
